Wade Butaud, MD

Your nuclear option

As a young man at Texas A&M, I was preparing to become a nuclear engineer. However, the personal relationships I formed while serving as an LDS missionary in Boise, Idaho awoke in me the desire to serve the (nuclear) family as a Family Medicine physician.  When I returned to College Station I changed my major to Radiological Health Engineering and never looked back. I later graduated from the medical school at the University of Texas–Southwestern  and completed my residency at the full-spectrum Ventura Family Medicine program in Ventura, California, which included training in Mexico and Guatemala. I am fluent in medical Spanish (still working on conversational Spanish) and love serving Spanish-speaking people.
