Serving youth, staying young

Growing up on a family farm in central Utah, I came to understand the value of hard work, families, education and helping others. I earned a degree in Zoology at BYU and graduated with Honors from the University of Utah School of Medicine. I received Specialty Training in Family Practice at the Ventura County Medical Center (associated with the UCLA School of Medicine) which solidified my love of family medicine.

My wife and I raised six children who were educated in Nebo School District.  We love this area.  I continue to be active in community service projects including raising college scholarship funds. I’m a lifelong Scouter and find satisfaction in teaching and training young men--it helps keep me young. I do understand the challenges parents face in raising healthy children (and in staying healthy themselves as they grow older.) I have delivered over 1,200 babies.  I continue to deliver babies and it is an absolute joy to watch these babies grow up and become parents (and grandparents) themselves.
